Morro Bay Realty first opened its doors for business in 1952 under the ownership of Vern Crass. Louise Craig Tucker bought Morro Bay Realty in January of 1980. Morro Bay Realty joined the Prudential team in August of 1989 and was purchased from Louise Tucker by Richard and Shirley Fisher in July of 1996. In 2011, Richard Fisher passed away leaving his business legacy to his wife Shirley, and their 4 Daughters; Cynthia, Barbara, Deborah and Suzette.

Del Mar Realty owned by Chuck and Barbara Murdy became part of Prudential Morro Bay Realty in February of 1997 bringing with them a long established property management company and a corner location in the heart of the motel and restaurant district, within walking distance of Morro Bay’s famous Embarcadero on the Bay.

In May of 1998 the Prudential name was dropped and once again returned to the original Morro Bay Realty. About the same time, Morro Bay Realty branched out serving the north county by way of Western Heritage Realty and founded the new d.b.a. San Luis Obispo County Properties. Thus allowing staff to work the entire county, and beyond, under one corporation.

In the mid 2000’s, Morro Bay Realty acquired their current location and staff in Cayucos from another corporate office closing their doors.

The Fisher’s have brought with them their expertise in real estate consulting (sales, purchases and leasing), construction and development, as well as extensive knowledge of electronic programs serving the Real Estate Industry. The Fishers’ believe in being on the cutting edge of technology and will continue to lead the industry into the next decade.
